Terms of Service — Suphra

By downloading or using the Suphra application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Suphra is an AI-powered recipe generation and food ingredient management app that allows you to:

• Scan and manage pantry ingredients with barcode and visual scanning
• Generate personalized recipes using AI based on what you have at home
• Bookmark and organize your favorite recipes
• Track and manage your ingredient inventory over time

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the App or its underlying services.

2. AI-Generated Content

Suphra uses artificial intelligence to generate recipe suggestions and ingredient insights. AI-generated recipes are suggestions only. Always apply your own judgment regarding food safety, dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutritional suitability.

• Recipes may not always be accurate, complete, or safe for all individuals
• The App does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice
• You are solely responsible for any cooking decisions made based on app output

3. User-Provided Data

Most ingredient and pantry data in the App is entered or scanned by you. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your data. We are not responsible for incorrect scans, misidentified ingredients, misinterpretation of data, or any decisions made based on app insights.

4. Scanning & Camera Use

The App uses your device camera for barcode scanning and visual ingredient recognition. Camera access is used solely for in-app scanning features.

• We do not store camera images beyond the active scanning session
• Scanned data is processed to identify ingredients and barcodes
• You can revoke camera access at any time in device settings

5. Subscriptions & Coins

Some features in Suphra require a paid PRO subscription or in-app Coins. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store.

• PRO subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled
• Coins are consumed when generating AI recipes and do not expire
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions via your Apple account
• Refunds must be requested directly from Apple

6. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services to deliver its core functionality, including:

• Anthropic API — for AI-powered recipe generation
• Apple App Store — for payment processing and distribution
• Analytics providers — for usage insights and app improvement

We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or policies of third-party services.

7. Notifications

The App may send notifications related to your pantry, such as ingredient expiry reminders, recipe suggestions, and subscription or billing updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

8. Availability

The App is provided "as available." We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or that AI-generated content will meet your expectations. Features may change, be updated, or be removed at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and branding in the App belong to the developer. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute any part of the App. Recipes generated by the App are provided for your personal use only and may not be resold or republished commercially.

10. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is." We are not responsible for:

• Health outcomes from following AI-generated recipes
• Allergen-related incidents due to misidentified ingredients
• Data loss, incorrect inventory information, or scanning errors
• Service interruptions or third-party failures

Use of the App is at your own risk.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes means you accept the updated Terms. We will endeavor to notify users of significant changes.
